Prince, whose full name is Prince Rogers Nelson, is a singer-songwriter, musician and actor from Minnesota, USA. With a career spanning over 35 years, Prince has released more than thirty studio albums, ten of which went platinum. Most of the instruments in his music are played by Prince himself, and he also writes his own music. Prince has won seven Grammy Awards and has five Billboard No.1 hits to his name. He is best known for songs like ‘Purple Rain’, ‘When Doves Cry’, ‘Kiss’, ‘Raspberry Beret’ and ‘Musicology’.  Apart from receiving worldwide recognition for his music, Prince was famed for being an over-the-top stage performer with a unique and wild fashion sense; he is also known to be slightly eccentric both on and off stage. In 1991, he drew much attention to himself when he changed his stage name to a symbol that could not be pronounced. Eventually he changed it back to Prince. His acting credits include roles in ‘Purple Rain’, ‘Under The Cherry Moon’ and ‘Graffiti Bridge’. In 2007, he teamed up with Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics to launch his very own fragrance called ‘Prince 3121′ named after his 30th album ‘3121’.
