Zach Braff was born on April 6, 1975 in South Orange, New Jersey. His first acting break was at the age of fourteen on a television pilot. After graduating from the film school, he returned to his acting career and appeared in many small films. However, Braff got his big break in 2001 when he was cast in the television comedy show ‘Scrubs’. The series was a huge success and he gained wide recognition for his role in Scrubs as Doctor John Dorian. He won nominations for an Emmy and three Golden Globes for his work in Scrubs. Braff made his debut as a director, in 2004, with the film ‘Garden State’. He starred in the movie, wrote it, and also compiled the sound-track record. He won several awards for his directorial work, and won a Grammy Award for the Best Sound track Album in 2005, for Garden State. Braff is the spokesman for Pur Water Filters. Since 2009, he has been dating American model Taylor Bagley. Zach Braff is known for wearing Gendarme cologne.
