Avril Lavigne is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She is best known for her singles “Complicated” and “Sk8er Boi” on her first album, “Let Go”, that was released in 2001. At that time, she was known for a tomboyish style and usually seen wearing baggy clothes and Converse or skater shoes.  After she got married in 2006 to Deryck Whibley, Avril Lavigne changed her image. She started sporting Gothic style outfits. Black tutus started to become part of her wardrobe. She also had a pink streak on her blonde-dyed hair.  She released a clothing line in 2008 and the Black Star perfume the following year. The perfume has notes of pink hibiscus flower, green pear, black plum, and dark chocolate. The commercial for the perfume features a jingle entitled “Black Star”, which was sung by Avril herself.  Lavigne released another perfume, “Forbidden Rose”, the next year. It is a mix of red apple, black pepper, lotus flower, flower, sandalwood and vanilla.  In 2011, Lavigne launched her third perfume called Wild Rose. Like Forbidden Rose, it is a floral-fruity perfume with notes of pink grapefruit, blue orchid and sandalwood.
