Rachael Ray was born on August 25, 1968 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She is a well-known American celebrity chef, businesswoman and author. She moved to Albany and held cooking lessons while working in a store that attracted the interest of a local television station. The station stared cooking segments featuring Rachael, which went on to become “30 Minute Meals” (2001). Ray later hosted many Food Network shows and authored several cookbooks. She also launched her own magazine called Rachael Ray magazine that is published bi-monthly. She also started her nationally syndicated talk-show, Rachael Ray. Today, millions of viewers admire her down-to-earth and original style. She was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award for this show. Ray married the lead singer of the rock band – The Cringe and an American lawyer, John Cusimano, on September 24, 2005. Ray launched a non-profit organization, in 2006, called Yum-O! that empowers kids as well as their families to form healthy relationships with cooking and food. Rachael Ray is known for wearing the perfume Royal Bain De Caron.
