Whitney Houston, one of America’s greatest divas and most accomplished female artists of all time, was also a model, actress, songwriter and film and television producer. She arrived on the music scene with her self-titled debut album in 1985 which contained some of Houston’s greatest hits including ‘Saving All My Love For You’, ‘How Will I Know’ and ‘The Greatest Love of All’. In a career which span over 25 years, Houston recorded six studio albums, along with three movie soundtrack albums, and sold over 200 million records internationally. She also has over 400 awards to her name; more than any other female artist.  Houston made her film debut in 1992, co-starring in ‘The Bodyguard'; here she performed a cover of Dolly Parton’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ which went on to become one of the greatest shining moments in Houston’s career. She turned film producer in 1997 with ‘Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella’. Other movies produced by Houston include ‘The Princess Diaries’, ‘The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement’ and ‘The Cheetah Girls’. She has appeared in many commercials for well-known brands and companies such as Coca Cola, AT&T, Sanyo and Nissin. Whitney Houston was known for wearing the perfume from Annick Goutal’s collection.  Her untimely death on February 11th, 2012, shocked millions around the world, but nonetheless, her legacy and massive contribution to music will never be forgotten.
