Elvis Presley was born on August 16, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee. He started singing locally as “The Hillbilly Cat”, after graduating from Humes High School. Later, he was signed by a local recording company and then in 1955, RCA signed him. As a singer he was popularly known as The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
