Alanis Nadine Morissette was born on 1st June 1974. She is an American and Canadian songwriter, singer, actress, record producer and guitarist. She has won seven Grammy Awards, sixteen Juno Awards and was nominated twice for the Golden Globe Awards. She began her career as teenager in Canada and recorded under the MCA Records Canada.
