Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton was born in Hope, Arkansas in 1946. He was named William Jefferson Blythe when he was born but later he adopted his stepfather’s name. He married Hillary Rodham in 1975 and their daughter Chelsea Victoria Clinton was born on February 27, 1980. He was elected the 42nd president of the US in 1992 and served the office between 1993 and 2001. At 46, he was the United State’s third youngest president. Under Clinton’s presidency, America was an era of prosperity and peace, marked by declining crime rates, low unemployment and a budget surplus. Clinton has been honored in different ways, in countries such as, Papua New Guinea, the Czech Republic, Kosovo and Germany. His term as the President saw a substantial economic growth, but a scandal nearly took down his government and eventually led to his impeachment. His last day as the president was on January 20, 2001. Later, Clinton strongly advocated on behalf of Hillary Clinton, during the democratic presidential campaign in 2008. Clinton is known to wear the cologne Gendarme Fragrance.
