Enrique Iglesias

Enrique Iglesias was born on May 8, 1975 in Madrid, Spain. He moved to the US when he was eight years old. Enrique is the son of his famous father and singer Julio Iglesias. By the time he was 15, he began writing music secretly. Iglesias had enrolled in Miami University but, he dropped out after a year to pursue a career in music. In 1995, he released his debut album which, turned out to be a great success. Till date, Iglesias sold more 100 million records worldwide and has around 70 number one rankings on numerous Billboard charts due to which, Billboard refers to him as “The King of Latin Pop” as well as “The King of Dance”. Some of his most successful songs are “Bailamos,” “Be With You,” “Rhythm Divine,” “Escape,” “Don’t Turn Off The Lights,” “Maybe,” and “Hero.” In his personal life, Iglesias has been in an on-off relationship with tennis star Anna Kournikova. In 2008, Iglesias has announced that he had married Kournikova but, they separated sson after the marriage. Currently, they have reconciled. Enrique Iglesias wears and is a spokesman for True Star Men cologne by Tommy Hilfiger.
