Tom Cruise was born as Thomas Cruise Mapother IV on 3 July 1962 in Syracuse, New York. Cruise is an American actor and producer. He began his career in acting at the age of 19. Cruise starred in several blockbusters, which includes ‘Rain Man’, ‘Mission Impossible’, ‘Jerry Maguire’, ‘Born on the Fourth of July’, ‘Vanilla Sky’, ‘Minority Report’, ‘The Last Samurai’, ‘War of the Worlds’, ‘Oblivion’ and many more. Cruise is among Hollywood’s highest paid actors. He won three Golden Globe Awards and was nominated for three Academy Awards. Cruise is one of the most sought-after actors in the film history. He was chosen by People magazine as the Sexiest Man Alive in 1990. He also featured in the 1997 list of Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time. He was also ranked as the world’s most powerful celebrity by Forbes magazine in 2006. Cruise was romantically linked with many actresses and was married to Mimi Rogers (1987-1990), Nicole Kidman (1990-2001) and Katie Holmes (2006-2012).
