Bethenny Frankel

Bethenny Frankel was born on November 4, 1970 in New York City. She is an entrepreneur, author and talk show host. After a troubled childhood, Frankel attended New York’s National Gourmet Cooking Institute. After graduating, she launched a company called Bethenny Bakes, which supplied all-natural foods and gourmet for high-end clients. In 2005, due to her high-profile baking skills, she got selected as a contender on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. Being a natural on television, she made it to the finals. In 2008, as a health-conscious chef Frankel became a television celebrity on The Real Housewives of New York City and other reality shows soon followed. As her fame rose, Frankel became a preferred health food writer for publications such as Health magazine, The New York Times, Hamptons Magazine, and was also a contributing editor of OK! Magazine. Frankel’s other writing work includes, the autobiographical – ‘A Place of Yes, the Recipe Guide’, ‘The Skinnygirl Dish’ as well as the novel ‘Skinnydipping’. In 2010, she also produced an exercise DVD called the Body by Bethenny along with an audio book. Later, Frankel starred in Bravo’s reality TV show Bethenny Getting Married? This show documents her marriage and motherhood. In her personal life, Frankel married Peter Sussman, an entertainment industry executive in 1996 but they later divorced in 1997. On March 28, 2010, she married Jason Hoppy and they have a daughter together who was born in 2010. Frankel filed for a divorce from Hoppy in January 2013. Bethenny Frankel is known for wearing the perfume Narciso Rodriguez for her.
