Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was born on May 3, 1975 in Knoxville, Tennessee. At the age of nineteen, she moved to New York and became a professional model. She traveled between NY and London modeling for three years before moving to Los Angeles to get into acting. She began appearing on television series, landing a recurring roles in “Beggars and Choosers” in 1999 and “Kevin Hill” in 2004 before earning international fame in “Firefly” (between 2002-2003) and “Mad Men” in 2007. Hendricks was nominated for four Emmy Awards for her character role in “Mad Men”. She also won a SyFy Genre Award for her role in “Firefly”. In 2010, Hendricks was voted by Esquire magazine as the Best Looking American Woman. She also ranked #14 on Askmen’s 2013’s list of the top 99 “Most Desirable Famous Women.” Hendricks married actor Geoffrey Arend, on October 11, 2009. Christina Hendricks is known for wearing the perfume Premier Figuier by by L’artisan.
