Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990 in Paris, France. Emma aspired to be an actress since the age of six and trained at Stagecoach Theater Arts’ Oxford branch. By the time she was ten, she had performed in numerous school plays and Stagecoach productions. When the casting for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone began in 1999; casting agents found Watson through her theater teacher in Oxford. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001) marked a cinematic screen debut for Emma. She went on to star in all the eight Harry Potter films and became one of the highest paid and renowned actresses, under the age of thirty. Watson won several eminent awards by playing the role of Hermione in the Harry Potter series. Watson’s non-Potter films include Ballet Shoes, My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Bling Ring among others. Her modeling debut was for Burberry’s campaign in 2009. Watson has appeared in men’s magazine’s 100 Sexiest Women list for six consecutive years. She was also chosen as Elle’s style icon in the year 2010. She was in a relationship with George Craig, Jay Barrymore and Will Adamowicz (a student in Oxford). Emma Watson helped to create and endorse the fragrance Tresor Midnight Rose by Lancome.
